About Us

Theatrical Threads was founded in 2024 by Sarah Wilder. Sarah built her career as being a Performing Arts Educator and Teaching Artist working in Title 1 schools. After watching students and schools not be able to afford costumes or attire, she set out to build a program to support the arts. Theatrical Threads is a woman led Non-Profit who is dedicated to providing costumes and rehearsal attire to Title 1 schools and students. By accepting donations and offering costume purchases/rental, our goal is to support the arts in low-income communities, promotes sustainability through reuse and help cultivate a new generation of artist.
